What's your name?

The Young Inspectors project is run by City of York Council and trains targeted young people to inspect services and make recommendations for improvement. Our recommendations provide services with vital information that can be used to plan and deliver better services for young people.

The Young Inspectors have inspected Urbie and wrote a report on their findings.

So what is Urbie?

Urbie is an urban, rural bus for information and education!

The Young Inspectors found that young people can do all sorts on the Urbie bus..
• Watch films
• Arts
• Board games
• Card games
• Sporty things
• And lots more...

Urbie is also somewhere young people can go if they need to talk to a member of staff.. this could be for advice, help or support.

Why should you come to Urbie?

• Hang around with your mates/friends
• To have something to eat and drink
• Have a good chat with other people
• Do lots of art and crafts
• You could meet lots of new people
• You could get free condoms
• You would have lots of sports to choose from and get healthy exercise
• And you can have lots of fun!!!

In their report, the Young Inspectors put together some recommendations to improve the Urbie bus. You can view the full report here!
