The CYSCP Neglect Screening Tool can be used by any practitioner to ascertain their level of concern and decide whether an enquiry should be made to the MASH either for Early Help advice from the Local Area Teams or advice from Children's Social Care.

The PAMIC Tool 

 

The PAMIC Tool is to be used when when considering how likely and with what severity an adult’s mental ill health will impact on a child. It involves the practitioner thinking about the nature of risk and also the protective factors for the child so it includes the practitioner’s professional judgement.

Children and Young People Presenting with Harmful Sexual Behaviours is a toolkit for professionals produced by The Children’s Society as part of the National CSAE Prevention Programme for England and Wales, in partnership with Victim Support and the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC).

The Pre-Birth Assessment Tool is designed to help professionals to carefully consider a range of themes and to tease out issues that have potential for having a significant negative impact on the child.

Online Sexual Harm Reduction Guide

The Marie Collins Foundation in partnership with the National Working Group have developed a new resource, 'Online Sexual Harm Reduction' Guide to support professionals with regards to how to respond when it is discovered that a child has been harmed online. 

MCF is a highly respected charity specialising in the field of raising awareness of online sexual abuse, training professionals and supporting victims. MCF is passionate about advocating for children who have suffered online sexual abuse and exploitation, encouraging and supporting them and their families to survive and recover and empowering them to go on to live safe and fulfilling lives.

NWG is also a charity formed as a network of over 14,500 practitioners across the UK who disseminate information to fellow professionals working on the issue of child exploitation. Its team comprises specialists with a range of skills who proactively engage other organisations by sharing, and seeking, effective practice to better protect children.
